Pressureless Expansion Tank With Degassing Provision

ADVANCED SMART FEATURES

  • Air Separator gets Eliminated
  • Expansion Tank size gets Reduced
  • Energy Saving
  • Nitrogen Gas Filling at site not required
  • Pump Controlled Auto Pressurized Expansion Tank

Pump controlled Auto Pressurized Expansion Tank is a breakthrough product that simultaneously handles the role of the existing closed expansion tank and the role of the air separator.

It is designed and manufactured so that the pressure does not act on the tank by using the supply water pump and the solenoid valve in order to escape from the pressure vessel method in accordance with the reality that the high – rise building is main. Thus, the safety of expansion tank was supplemented. Air separator is also added, making it a futuristic product that is easy to use space of narrow machine room.

Emerald Pressureless Expansion Tank consist of air-tight expansion tank, pressure holding pumps, automatic control panel, throttling valve, solenoid valves, stop valves, piping, and so on. The air-tight expansion tank contains a Diaphragm (Bladder) in a cylindrical steel vessel of atmospheric pressure applied. And the microprocessor based automatic control enables to maintain the system pressure of heating and/or cooling water circuits within a desirable range at all time. If the system pressure be increased due to the water temperature rise in a heating/cooling circuit.

the expanded water shall be directed into the expansion tank by opening the solenoid valve of overpressure-relief through the throttling valve until the system pressure is reduced under the preset pressure.

Then, the free air bubbles and some dissolved gases can be separated from the expanded water due to the release of its pressure at the inside of the Bladder which is un-pressurized. That is, the dissolved gases in the water come to be appeared as free air bubblesby relief of its pressure and then the free air bubbles shall be removed from the system through the Air Vent on the top of expansion tank.

In theory, the level of air contents in the system can be reduced to approximately the same level of the solubility at the atmospheric pressure according to Henry’s Law.

On the other hand, if the system pressure be decreased due to the water temperature drop in the piping circuit, the pressure holding pump shall operate to get the expanded water back into the piping circuit until the system pressure is recovered as higher than the preset pressure. System has an additional function of automatic replenishment of tank water at the LOW LEVEL and the draining of tank water at the HIGH LEVEL.
