For Closed Hydronics Heating & Chilled Water Systems
The pressurization system shall include an Emerald, replaceable bladder type
expansion tank which will accommodate the expanded water of the system
generated within the normal operating temperature range, limiting this pressure
increase as these components in the system to the maximum allowable pressure at
those components.
It shall maintain the system pressure within the maximum allowable limit. Only air
in the system shall be the permanent sealing and cushion contained in the
replaceable bladder type tank, Model No. EET. Dimensions shall be as indicated on
the drawing.
The Expansion Tanks can also be manufactured in Stainless Steel as per Pressure
Regulations (JIS / EEC).
Emerald Expansions are constructed in Mild Steel as per IS2062 / Stainless Steel
as per SS304. The Expansion Tanks as constructed as per AMSE / IS-2825
pressure standard (Non-fired). Each tank has a working pressure of (125 psig/8.6
bar) and air pre charged.
The tank shall be supported by steel legs or a base (integrated mount) for vertical
installation. Each tank will have a heavy duty replaceable butyl bladder.
Benefits:
-
No Maintenance expenses
-
Membrane (Bladder) replaceable.
-
No Energy required
-
It checks constant Water Flow either contracting & expansion of the water in
the system.
-
Low installation cost.
-
Controls the Water Hammering and stabilize the water pressure in the system.
-
It reduces pumps cycling & saves energy.
-
The tank provides equal pressure at all the points in the plant.
-
It prevents corrosion in the pipe line.
-
No maintenance is required.
