Pump controlled Auto Pressurized Expansion Emerald Cooling Tower Filtration System is used to remove unwanted solids
from a cooling tower using a Centrifugal action. The water is allowed to pass
through this filtration system which enables to create a flow, in Full stream
that covers the full control of solids in the re circulated cooling tower System.
The Cooling Tower filtration unit shall have a flow rate as per the requirement
of the plant. The maximum working pressure shall be 10 bar & maximum
operating temperature shall be 40°C.
The Separated particle matter shall move down in swirling motion along with
the perimeter of the inner separation barrel, in such a manner that does not
promote any wear & tear of the separation barrel in to the solids collection
chamber located below the deflector plate.
The Separator shall have Manual/Automatic drain valve. The barrel shall be
constructed of MS as per IS 2062 & shall have inlet & outlet flanged ends. The
flanges shall as per IS 6392.
A Special design arrangement has been installed inside the separation barrel
that allows the water to generate proper velocity which is necessary for the
removal of solids from water. This specially designed arrangement provides
maximum flow transfer, laminar action & particle influence in to the separation
barrel.
This Filtration System must be complete with electrical panel & shall have IP-
55 degree protection. The panel shall comprise of starter with overload
protector, selector switch, voltmeter, single phase preventer, emergency stop,
contactors, MCB etc. & all this shall be internally wired. The filtration System
must be complete with separation barrel, pump, Suction strainer, Panel. All
shall be mounted on a common skid.
